Myagi's third album - 11 tracks of hard-hitting breakbeat that is one part ethereal, one part warehouse rave and one part movie soundtrack. From organic chill elements through to screaming acidic synths and expansive, evolving soundscapes, “The World of Tomorrow” flows from track to track with no filler.

Myagi’s previous two artist albums scored 9 and 9.5/10 respectively in DJ Mag, garnering comparisons to Leftfield, Orbital, Chemical Brothers and other high energy electronic acts to emerge from the 90s rave scene.

The World of Tomorrow marks his return to electronic music, perfectly timed as the global sound rediscovers the sounds of acid, breakbeat and rave.

Texture and Vision

The album art takes the form of segments, lightly treated, taken from 2 large format acrylic paintings.

These painting were completed in the midst of the early stages of the covid pandemic, and were just one of the ways my wife and I stayed creative as we navigated through the unknown.

It felt fitting, as I started envisioning the album as a "cohesive whole" that the visual component for the album and the singles would be taken from these hopeful experiments, rich with texure and color. They are unique, home made and decidedly of a different era, as the album itself is meant to feel.
