I’m happy to present, free in its entirety, The Art Of Synthesis, a 50-video online music production course.  Created in 2013, this course was one of the first of its kind, helping to establish a template that many audio and sound design programs would later follow.

Important - this course is an unsupported legacy product and is made available to benefit those learning the ropes or wanting to up their game.  

Designed as a crash course for novice to experienced music producers, it introduces all main synth components, core theories such as signal flow, FM, audio rate modulation, and practical techniques. It is structured to scaffold concepts into practical demonstrations. Short, focused explanation videos lead into more detailed demonstrations that implement those ideas in practice.

Rather than attempting to imitate popular artists, this material focuses on the why and the how. The goal is to help you develop an actual understanding of how synthesizer components work so that you can use them intentionally to forge your own sound.
